Grapeweb Spot Market is launching today. This system will simplify and streamline trading between buyers and sellers of wine grapes.
You can access Grapeweb Spot Market at https://spotmarket.grapeweb.com.au or by clicking the button on your Grapeweb home page. Log in with your Grapeweb username and password. Agree to our Terms and Conditions once only and then start entering your requests or offers.
Sellers can create offers to sell uncontracted grapes through the “Offers” menu. No other sellers can see your offers. Sellers can view buyer requests to buy grapes through the “Requests” menu.
Buyers can create requests to buy uncontracted grapes through the “Requests” menu. No other buyers can see your requests. Buyers can view seller offers to sell grapes through the “Offers” menu.
More offers and requests will appear as more sellers and buyers join the Spot Market. Please support this initiative by entering genuine requests and come back often!
Seller offers and buyer requests include a message board. Simply type a message and it appears for the person at the other end to read. Messages are anonymous until you decide to share your details. You can then finalise the deal outside of the Spot Market application.
We are not involved in the final financial transaction between buyers and sellers. The service to grape growers is FREE. A fee of 5% of the transaction total is payable by the buyer of the grapes.
We will remind buyers and sellers to renew listings every two weeks. This will be as simple as a click of a mouse.
